STUDENTS: INDOOR CAMPUS of the Hamburg network "Teachers with a history of migration" .

To get more young people with an immigrant background interested in the teacher training course and the teaching profession - that is the declared aim of SCHÜLER: INNENCAMPUS of the Hamburg network "Teachers with a history of migration" . The project, originally launched in 2008 on the initiative of the ZEIT Foundation Ebelin and Gerd Bucerius, takes place this year as part of a proven cooperation between the State Institute for Teacher Training and School Development (LI), the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of the State of Schleswig-Holstein and the Center for Teacher Education Hamburg (ZLH).
Our goal is to inform high school students with a history of migration about the teaching degree and the teaching profession, job opportunities for teachers (subjects, school types, etc.)
WHEN:
Event date of the 3-day compact seminar
- Module phase I Saturday 20th November and Sunday 21st November 2021 (all day, including meals)
- Module phase II Monday, November 22nd, 2021: Observations at schools and
Reflection seminar in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein
Venue State Institute for Teacher Training and School Development, Weidenstieg 29, 20357 Hamburg
Application deadline October 22, 2021 (number of participants max. 30)
Who can apply?
Schoolchildren with a history of migration who are attending high school in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein and are interested in the teaching profession. Pupils who themselves or their parents / grandparents were born abroad and who immigrated to Germany have a history of migration.
our range
We offer free meals as well as participation in the supporting program. An application requires full participation in the project (3-day compact seminar and supporting program). Participants from Schleswig-Holstein also receive free accommodation and care.
