Get to know YAPA Germany e.V
YAPA Germany e.V is a non-profit recognized German-African association that focuses on the professional needs of young people in Germany. YAPA Germany e.V was founded in 2021 by an ambitious team of young African professionals who have come together to demonstrate innovative professional development and to offer advice and mentoring to aspiring young professionals in regards to the German school system, apprenticeships, internships, career opportunities etc. We foster inspirational networking, and we encourage impactful community building.
The YAPA Germany e.V network includes African and non-African professionals across Germany. The network has members with different educational and professional paths. Our members are of different ages and have experience in the following areas, among others:
Crafts, industry, trade and sales, service sector, health care, research and science, art and culture, IT, technology, engineering, marketing and media, social affairs and education, business and administration .
YAPA Germany is aimed at

who are about to graduate from school and need support in deciding whether to start an apprenticeship or study,

who are currently studying and looking to exchange ideas with others from similar fields,

To our constitution
Our vision & mission
`During my teenage years in Germany, I often encountered the question, "Why are Africans so underrepresented in certain professions?"
As an adult, I analyzed the main reasons for this. In my opinion, these lie in a lack of personal role models, a lack of career guidance and a non-existent network. The more I dealt with this topic, the more my heart desire grew to establish a network in Germany to bring a change.
With the support of YAPA Germany e. V. the view of young people should already be changed by showing that each individual, regardless of origin, can successfully follow his/her educational or professional path. The key to success is the establishment of a network of aspiring professionals, academics, trainees and students of African and non-African descent.
This network shall offer young people an orientation and accompany them on their way into the professional world. YAPA Germany e. V. provides a platform for networking and career guidance for young people.
The main goal is to create career opportunities for the current and next generation'

The challenges our world faces are addressed through research; from archeology to zoology. So yes, I take pride in doing my part in finding solutions to people's unmet medical needs'
